Borrowing suspension design principles from Intense’s downhill race bikes, the Tracer 29 utilizes a bottom-link-driven rear shock configuration that provides exceptional small-bump sensitivity, strong mid-stroke support, and controlled progression for aggressive riding. This layout allows the suspension to remain active and plush when charging through rough terrain, while still offering a stable and efficient pedaling platform for long climbs and stage transfers.

The rear shock is positioned low and centrally within the frame, lowering the center of gravity and improving overall chassis balance. Combined with the rollover advantages of 29″ wheels, the Tracer 29 delivers outstanding composure at speed, enhanced traction in rough sections, and confident line-holding on steep, technical descents.

Updated to current drivetrain standards, the Tracer 29 frameset features a Universal Derailleur Hanger (UDH) and full compatibility with SRAM T-Type transmissions, ensuring precise shifting alignment, increased drivetrain durability, and long-term component compatibility.
