Mavic Allroad S Wheelset

The Mavic Allroad S Wheelset brings the reliability and versatility of Mavic’s Allroad platform to an affordable aluminum wheelset designed for gravel riding, rough roads, and mixed-surface adventures.

Built around wide aluminum UST tubeless-ready rims, the Allroad S provides excellent tire support for modern gravel setups. The rim profile is optimized for 30–64mm tires, allowing riders to run lower pressures for improved traction, comfort, and control on gravel roads, dirt paths, and broken pavement.

Compared with the carbon Allroad S Carbon, the aluminum construction focuses on impact resistance and everyday durability, making it an excellent choice for high-mileage gravel riding, bikepacking routes, and riders who prioritize reliability over minimal weight.

The wheelset uses 24 straight-pull spokes to create a strong, responsive structure that balances lateral stiffness for efficient power transfer with vertical compliance for comfort on rough terrain. This results in confident handling when climbing loose surfaces or descending technical gravel.

At the hub, Mavic’s ID360 freehub system provides quick engagement and efficient power transfer while remaining simple to maintain. The QRM Auto bearing preload system automatically maintains proper bearing tension, ensuring smooth rolling performance and long-term durability without the need for adjustments.
